Do I need a Reason to be happy? - Mahatria, Voice of Ra...

Life was not right for Lot of people.  If all the factors in life has to be right to be happy even GOD cannot be happy.

Life was not right for Arjuna, Duriyodhana, Karna. Life was not right for the incarnations of God's like Rama and Krishna.

Thinking of sita, Rama suffered a lot for quite sometime.

Krishna thinking that this guy(Arjuna) will fight the war sat into the chariot of Arjuna without any weapons in his hand. All of a sudden he said he is not going to fight.

Life was not right even for Christ who was crucified for showing infinite love to this world.  When an ahimsa murthy can be shot dead using an weapon you instrument in masters hands can happen anything at any point of time.

When messengers, gurus, saints, prophets, who walked this planet before you and me had suffered, you and me are mere mortal souls in this life are bound to suffer fromlife.

Lets live this life holistically, happily in the masters hands.

"Music does not come from the instrument, Music comes through the instrument.
I am just an instrument in his hands. "

Whatever happens in life it is just a LEELA. Enjoy it, cherish it, Gracefully get it, Gracefully Let it go. Be happy to receive it with full. We don't need a reason to be happy.

You cry, you are in this game called LIFE.
You are happy, you are in this game called LIFE.
You are sad, you are in this game called LIFE.
You are miserably sad, you are in this game called LIFE.
You deserve something, but dint get it, you are in this game called LIFE.
You don't deserve something, but you got it, you are in this game called LIFE.
People who were close to you mistook you, you are in this game called LIFE.
Something very exciting happened today for you, you are in this game called LIFE.
You are flourishing in a relationship, you are in this game called LIFE

Whatever it is play this game of life, you are in this game until one day you reach your graveyard. At least I will lead a peaceful, blissful life.

So many factors of life we cannot control.

When we cannot change the man made game like (GOLF, Cricket, Football), what right do we have? to change the eternal Game of LIFE.

We will do everything out of Happiness and not for happiness. Happiness is in us. Don't put the key of happiness into someone else or somethings else pocket.

God will test the good people a lot, but he will never forsake them. God will provide a lot for the bad ones, but he will eventually forsake them - Frozen Thoughts Article - Octoober 2011

God will test the good people a lot, but he will never forsake them.
God will provide a lot for the bad ones, but he will eventually forsake them.

In the Mahabharata, Indra - the Lord of the Heaven, explains to Yudhishtira - the eldest of the Pandava brothers, "This is the law of the Heaven (Devaloka).  If a man's sins outweigh his punya (virtues), then he comes straight into heaven when he dies. When his punya is exhausted, he sinks into hell to suffer for ‘his sins. But if a soul's virtue exceeds his sins, then he pays first for his crimes by passing through hell, and then comes to swarga (heaven) forever. "

Newton's third law of motion, "For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction," is the closest scientific principle to explain the Law of Karma. Existence is a mere multiplier, returning to you multiple times for your good deeds and penalising you multiple times for your wrong deeds. For all your Karmic investments (the value you have added to the world), Existence is obliged to return multiple times to you. For all your Karmic debts (the value the world added to you), Existence is responsible to recover multiple times from you. Hence the law, "You do not get in life what you desire. You only get in life what you deserve." Though we may not always succeed in connecting the dots, there is an eternal link between what has happened and what is happening. Existential response to our Karmic investments and Karmic debts are the current happenings in our life.

However, Existence does not operate with any 'Net' arithmetic. There is nothing like ten good deeds minus three wrong deeds yielding a net of seven good deeds. Your ten good deeds become your Karmic Investment and to that extent, multiplied good will be returned back to your life. Your three wrong deeds become your Karmic Debt and to that extent, multiplied disturbances will happen in your life. That's why even Duryodhana has good times and Yudhishtira too has bad times.

Even Rama suffers and Ravana has some great times. This life is an integrated package. It is neither a bed of roses nor a pathway of thorns. All that matters is to know that when you live a life of rightthoughts, right feelings and right actions, even if you may be tested, you shall never be forsaken.... Never.
That's what Indra said, ". . .then comes to swarga forever."

Frozen Thoughts - Jan 2011 - Pearls of Wisdom - Free from Tension

Free from Tension

People complain how life, and especially god, was not fair to them. Problems are like the water in the ocean, which cannot sink a ship unless it gets inside the ship. Similarly, whatever be the issue, it can't pull one down unless he lets it get on his nerves.

The so called troubles are like a washing machine. They twist, turn, and even knock us around. But in the end we come out brighter and better. Life is all about creating oneself. And any creation first starts with an intention.

It is our intentions that set the direction in our life. Our intentions are like the rudder of a ship, which helps to change the direction in which our ship is moving.

So, in order to give direction to our life, we need to have good and positive intentions.

How much ever good one's intentions may be, one need to invest time on them. Intentions have to be backed by continuous attention and 100% action. If the intentions are not backed by action, they would be mere wishful thinking and nothing about life would change. The equation for tension-free life is pretty simple.

Intention + Action No tension.
This formula works. It's guaranteed.

“Who writes the script for my life?” – T T Rangarajan gives clarity on Destiny, script of life…

Source: http://blog.almamater.com/2011/03/who-writes-the-script-for-my-life-t-t-rangarajan-gives-clarity-on-destiny-script-of-life/

Question : Do you think our life is governed by our actions and the consequences of our actions or is it a predetermined course of events?  Can we write the script of our future, break free from the shackles of destiny or is everything about life already pre-planned and are we just walking into the future that is already set for us.
T T Rangarajan (Voice of Love): Every moment of life offers innumerable choices.  For every choice I execute, I invite a consequence.  While I have control over my choices, I can only have expectations over the consequences.  While I have a choice over choice, I am actually choiceless about the consequence.  While choices are born out of my intelligence, consequences are a feedback from Existential intelligence – the conglomeration of infinite forces – known, unknown and unknowable.  My microscopic intelligence operates out of the data at my disposal, while the macrocosmic intelligence operates out of universal data.
Life progresses in the framework of choice-consequence-choice cycle.  I execute a choice (I lead my life).  Of course, the consequence of my choice is not in my control (I am being led).  But again, how I respond to
these consequences is once again my choice and that is in my control.  My choices are my self-effort (X-axis).  The consequences are my destiny (Y-axis).  My future is neither completely controlled by consequences nor is it independent of my choices, but it is a resultant diagonal in the XY graph.  Life is not Self-Effort Vs Destiny, but it is Self-Effort plus Destiny.
So, I will use my intelligence to execute choices.  Surrender the same intelligence to the Existential intelligence by faithfully accepting the consequences.  And again use my intelligence to execute counter-choices to those consequences.  On a yellow wall when I paint the blue, I will neither find the yellow nor get the blue, but a resultant green.  However, if I continue my self-effort of painting the blue long enough, the wall will eventually turn blue.
So, if I don’t get what I want in life, which I sometimes won’t; if after all my efforts the results don’t turn out to be what I aspired for, which they sometimes won’t; if the consequences of my choices aren’t what I intended, as they sometimes won’t… I will not lose my heart.  Unintended consequences are life’s way of showing me the possibilities I haven’t thought about.  Unintended consequences are Existence’s way of telling me that it has a different plan for me… a plan larger than what I intended.
I will use the framework of choice-consequence-choice and keep progressing in life.  Life is, ‘I’ plus ‘Him’ project, and not ‘I’ versus ‘Him’ project.

GIGO-Good In Good Out

We have heard:
"Our destiny is shaped by our character;
our character is shaped by our habits; and our habits are shaped by our actions."

But let us ask ourselves,
"What shapes our actions?" Of course, it is our thoughts
So, if we shape our thoughts, we will shape our destiny.

Thoughts constitute mind, and mind constitutes the content of the Being.
As are the thoughts, so will be the mind; as is the mind, so will be the man.
The mind of each man is the man himself.
We build our future thought by thought.
Thought is another name for fate.
We are what we are because of what has gone into our mind.
What we will be will depend on what continues to go into our mind.

Change the content of a thief and you have a Valmiki.
A sinner is transformed into a saint by changing the content of the being.
Change the content of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi and you have Mahatma Gandhi.

The computer acronym applies to human mind too, which says, GIGO-Garbage In Garbage Out
but then the contrary too is true GIGO-Good In Good Out.

Lead me to you meaning,

"I will not be merely satisfied with your kingdom alone,
my lord. I need you.
I am not merely seeking yours, but i am also seeking you.

For a child, however dear the toys may be, the toys still don't substitute  a mother.
Similarly, my lord, however passionate I may be about my materialistic pursuits, I am not complete without you.

So I need you.

So, my Lord, live in my heart and please my lord, lead me into your heart.

A small story from Ramayan. - Surrender, Bhakthi, Devotion

A small story from Ramayan.
After Lord Ram was crowned as price of ayodhya every one were returning to their home.(Sugriva, Angada, Vibhishana,  etc).

Irrespective of what was happening there, in one corner of the place Hanuman was closing his eyes and was  meditating on Lord Ram with tears flowing in his eyes.

Sita noticed this and gently touched Lord Ram about hanuman sitting in one
corner of the room and meditating on Lord Ram

Seeing this Lord Rama and Sita went near Hanuman.

Smelling the fragnance of Lord Ram and Sita when they came near HanumanHanuman opened his eyes.

With tears Lord Ram said to hanuman"I cannot give you anything in return for the devotion and bhakthi you have on me.  What do you want?"

Hanuman replied, "Rama you gave yourself to me. What else do I need?"

Lord Ram said "Only thing I can do is I can take you along with me to Vaikunta".
For which Hanuman asked Lord Ram "If you (Lord Ram) will be there in Vaikunta". Lord Ram replied i wont be there as Lord Ram itself but i will be there as Lord Mahavishnu. Lord Mahavishnu is the cause and Lord Ram is the effect
Hanuman replied stating " I wont come to a place where Lord Rama is not thereI will Stay back in this world and keep mediating on You Rama."

Lord Ram said "Hanuman there will be a time even i wont be there in this world"

Lord Hanuman, "That is what you know about you Rama. As long as this world exists there will be someone uttering your name. I will sit next to them".

He continued his meditation on Lord Ram staying back in this world.

Today also there is a custom where lord Ram name is uttered with devotion and bhakthi, there will beHanuman sitting in that place.

Gen Y guru Mahatria Ra says one should identify a cause larger than oneself

We knew him as T.T. Rangarajan who delivered Frozen Thoughts in freshly printed magazines. In Madras University’s Centenary hall recently, he appeared in an impeccably tailored kurta-sherwani to deliver a speech guaranteed to give you “more and most”. Between 3 p.m. when the door closed and 4.30 p.m. when the message closed, the 3,000-strong audience sang a prayer in English, heard the “voice of Mahatria Ra” with attention, laughed at his punch lines, clapped for the one-liners and nodded in appreciation. When they queued up for his hug and blessings, it was clear: he is Chennai’s own millennial self-help guru.
Fun exercise
It was a well-orchestrated speech for an Internet-savvy English-speaking audience. He asked questions, conducted a small fun exercise. There were allusions to the chapters in the Bhagavad Gita but the message was non-denominational. He spoke an everyday language, wrapped in everyday examples and current jokes — easily connecting with the audience.
“Do you love me?” he asked. The ‘yes’ wasn’t loud enough, he felt, and joked: “Will ‘retain’ you if all of you don’t say it together.” In this discourse, attitude counts, he said. You are not here out of curiosity, but for creating a breakthrough for yourself. What if, at the end of Krishna’s sermon Arjuna had clapped, said it was a wonderful speech and walked away? The purpose of this discourse is to make you align yourself to the truth, to make your love more pure, happiness deeper. This is not about me or you, he said. It is about you and me — the intensity of the speaker and the seeker dissolve into each other. Without that intensity, transformation is not possible, which is why the doors have to be closed. If we do it on the Marina, you will be informed, not transformed. “Pay attention” could not have been put better.
He listed the speedbreakers. Resistance to change prevents us from growing. We have to give up what we are to become who we should be. Doing the same thing and expecting to change is insanity. “The process of change is indeed painful, but we have to realise that transition takes us from a lower level of comfort to a higher level. We need introverted dynamism to reach that higher plane of comfort,” he said.
Thinking that abundance is anti-spiritual is a limiting factor, he argued. It is scarcity that is anti-spiritual. You cannot have a negative feeling about a place and want to reach it. There is no merit in thinking that your spiritual progress will halt if it is materialistic. But there is a twist — you have to grow with spiritual roots.
Surpass expectation
You look back with contentment, look ahead with ambition. Expand abundance. Live life in all its dimensions. Success comes to those who celebrate the success of others. Add value to what you do — whether you are a doctor, designer or a cleaner. Surpass expectation.
Be healthy, wealthy and loving, he summarised. Take care of all forms of love, all creations. Identify a cause larger than yourself. The best will come out when you believe in yourself. It is rare to be born as a human being, make your life count. It is a responsibility.
The guru and his message come packaged. The volunteers are dressed smartly, music and chant envelop you before and after the speech. His brand comes in T-shirts, his infinite thoughts in DVDs, MP3s, books, in live streaming. The logo of three evenly-spaced red dots is hard to miss. And once you have attended a live discourse, you are co-opted in the congregation — your vehicle leaves the premises with a three-dot sticker on the rear wind-shield.

Who is your fall back!

Who is your fallback!

People help you the way they know to help you.

To help you to come out of stress, one friend will ask you to drink, and

another will ask you to meditate.

To overcome hurt, one friend will ask you to take revenge and get even, and

another will ask you to forgive and get ahead with your life.

"Who is your fallback" makes all the difference.

Duryodhana's predicament, in his own words, was "I know what is right, but i am not able to

indulge in it. I know what is wrong, but i am not able to avoid it". He needed a fallback. His

fallback was his uncle Sakuni, and resultantly, Duriyodhana moved bad to worse.

Arjuna's predicament was different. He was allowing his personal emotions to dominate his

sense of duty, and hence wanted to escape from the responsibilities he had towards

upholding righteousness. He needed a fallback. His fallback was Krishna, and resultantly,

Arjuna was restored to his greatness.

Humans we are, at some point or the other, we all need a fallback. "Who is your fallback"

make all the difference.

Who is your fallback!
